Example File Streaming Automatic Method

Make sure File Streaming is up and running:

• From the Video Surveillance WebCam Software click on menu item Settings, File Streaming, put a check mark beside Use File Streaming. Result: you should see the Stream File Program, and Windows Media Encoder showing "Encoder Broadcasting".

1. connect to the Video Surveillance WebCam Software with your browser
2. go to Admin Page
3. click on the File Streaming shortcut link at top of page.
4. click enter on link, Run File Streaming program, if not running yet.
5. click on link, Connect with Media Player
6. in the Media Player Page, click on link 
   Connect to File Streaming with Computer IP Address
   

Result: Windows Media Player should automatically popup, connect to the file streaming, and start playing video in Windows Media Player.

If  you were connecting from the internet and were using a router or a router-modem, in step 6 above, one click on the link, Connect to File Streaming with Router IP Address instead.
