Live Video Streaming

Menu Location: Settings - Live Video Streaming

The Video Surveillance WebCam Software can send a stream of live video and audio over the internet to you at a remote location where you are connected to the internet or some other place in your LAN. Example to another computer, a wireless Pocket PC or Smart Phone cell phone providing they are compatible. Thus being able to look at live video from your cameras connected to the Video Surveillance WebCam Software's computer. The live video is displayed in Windows Media Player. 

One can control the video streaming behavior. Whether streaming is displayed or hidden, auto switch between cameras, how long to stream, or which video port to use.

The Video Surveillance WebCam Software uses Streaming Configuration Files to set the video streaming properties for video streaming eg image size, transmission bit rate, codec, audio. The Video Surveillance WebCam Software loads these Streaming Configuration Files into Windows Media Encoder, which Windows Media Encoder then uses to do the video streaming. You can use up to 10 Streaming Configuration Files. One can edit or create new Streaming Configuration Files.

When you click on menu item Stream, you can select which Streaming Configuration File to use to stream. Set by Default Streaming Config File.

When you click on link, Stream live video , with config file:, from the Remote User Interface, you can select which Streaming Configuration File to use.
