Max Number of Files

Menu Location: Settings - Global Settings

Sets the maximum number of video files which will be created by the program on your system. A good number is about 100 files. Depending on disk space available, and the length of  recorded video history you want.  You might want to increase this number, experiment first. Be sure to use a recommended compressor. Also then you can adjust the Frames per File you would like also.

NOTE:
After the program has filled up the specified number of files it will DELETE the oldest file to make room for the new file as it runs along, not creating or exceeding the maximum amount of files you specify here.

If you change the computer clock time you may have to remove all the video files from the c:\monitor\VideoFiles directory, and start recording all new files. To insure proper automatic file keeping.

If using File Streaming, keep all the files compressed with the same compressor. Or delete all the files and start with all new files.
