Enable Web Mode

Menu Location: Mode - Enable Web Mode

Puts the program in Web Mode. Web Mode is to enable remote use of the program. In particular it facilitates remote access to the Live Video Audio Feed. Remote access to the program can occur when in Desk Mode or any other mode if  VMS Web Server program is running, then a web browser can communicate to the Video Monitoring Software program.  The menu item is a toggle - a check mark on this menu item indicates, in web mode. To get out of web mode click the menu item a second time, and the there will be no check mark - indicating your out of web mode, and back into local Desk Mode. Web or Desk mode is indicated on the bottom status bar in pane 3.

Web Mode, puts the program into Monitoring Mode. The right half of main window will turn black, and any motion detected will show up as white. The left part of the main window will show the live video.

In Web Mode, a web browser program can can be used to log onto the Video Monitoring Software program, and put the program into Live Mode to stream live video of the site over the Internet.

Note: Only Web Mode allows for live video streaming, whereas Desk Mode does not allow live video streaming.

To change some program settings locally, one must leave Web Mode and return to Desk Mode, change the settings, and go back to web mode.
